We all got turned on to adding "iqua" (or some other variation) to the names of the ladies there. The result? Hilarity ensued (see below):
Talia = Taliqua
Jessica = Jessiqua
Oneida = Oniqua
Ashlei = Ashliqua
And so on.
I think "Taliqua" makes for a rather cute nickname, don't you think?

Though I must say Jessiqua isn't all THAT much different than her real name. An easy transition...
Once we added the "qua" to Jessica, that's all it took to send several of the ladies into fits of laughter. And then it just went on from there with Taliqua, Oniqua, etc.
what you forgot to say is that we were doing this because we had to channel our "inner black person" for a gospel-y song we are singing. The names really help us to get in that mode, you know. :)

Hi Jeremy! It's Barbie...not sure if you remember me. Anyways, I love nicknames and I think Taliqua fits Talia nicely :)
